Call for Projects "GreenTech Innovation Competition – Digital Technologies as Leverage for the Circular Economy"
The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action is launching a competition for digital technologies in the circular economy. The focus is on developing innovative approaches to applying these technologies to promote the transfer of knowledge and technology into the economy, particularly to small and medium-sized enterprises, and to create spill-over effects. The call is open to all industries and technologies.
The submission deadline for outlines is on March 24, 2025, at 12:00 PM.
The funding competition "Digital Innovations for Transport and Mobility" has started.
The Lower Saxony Ministry of Economics, Transport, Construction, and Digitalization, in collaboration with NBank, is supporting innovation projects in the field of digitalization of transport and mobility. Target groups include SMEs, start-ups, and collaborations with research institutions. Applications can now be submitted under the Lower Saxony Innovation Funding Program (IFP).
The application deadline is 31.03.2025.
SME funding in the Gifhorn district
In cooperation with its regional units, the Gifhorn district has issued a funding guideline to provide financial support to SMEs. The goal of the guideline is to create and secure new jobs. If your project is eligible for funding, you will receive an investment grant of up to 15% of your investment amount; a maximum of €75,000.

Digital innovations for the field of transport and mobility
SMEs or start-ups in cooperation with research institutions can receive a grant of up to €500,000 for innovation projects in the digitalization of transport and mobility. Application deadline: March 31, 2025.
Digital Bonus Lower Saxony
This new Digital Bonus aims to support investments in innovative projects for the introduction or improvement of hardware and software, as well as IT security, in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Lower Saxony. The goal of the program is to accelerate the digital transformation in SMEs to unlock value creation potential and enhance the competitiveness of businesses.
SMEs Innovative: Resource & Circular Economy
Small and medium-sized enterprises planning to further develop the responsible use of water resources or expand the circular economy, thereby contributing to the future strategy of research and innovation, can receive funding of up to €500,000.
Niedersachsen Invest ERDF (European Regional Development Fund
Small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that increase the sustainability of their business model by enhancing innovation or digitalization and make a sustainable contribution to environmental protection can receive funding of up to 60% of the investment amount.
